Learn by Doing
Our courses are full of practical tasks to help you improve your understanding.
About This Course:
The final task of this course is to use a pre-configured spreadsheet on which you will be making changes using features and skills you have learned through the lessons. This being a Beginner’s Spreadsheets course, we recommend making notes of which tabs (Home, Insert, Design….) contain which sections.
- Lesson 1: Styles and Document Setup
- Lesson 2: Headers and Footers
- Lesson 3: Cover and Contents Pages
- Lesson 4: Collaboration
- Lesson 5: Mail Merge
- Lesson 6: Final Task
In the final task, you are going to use skills learned in previous lessons to complete the revision activity which will engrave your knowledge about Word Processing. The task will ask you to use previous files to produce a Word document.
You will be asked to find and add a theme to the document whilst changing the titles to Heading 1,2 and 3.
Furthermore, you are tasked with inserting page breaks, adding the Skills 365 Logo, and adding a Table of Contents and footnote of your choice to at least one item on the page.
A mail merge will be performed using the letter and the spreadsheet. Once this is done you will need to review the document before merging it into a new document.
